PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Your project should be at a relatively advanced stage of development, with a minimum TRL stage of 5 and a ticket size up to 1 million EUR.

We encourage projects in the following areas:

  1. New Renewable Energy Projects (RES)

  2. Energy Efficiency Projects

  3. New Energy Technologies

We work with various financing options to meet the unique needs of each project

FINANCING OPTIONS

  • Our DeFi lending or debt financing is available for RES projects that are in their development stage with land and grid connection permits secured, energy efficiency projects for industrial facilities, and lending to energy startups to fuel growth or move to the next stage of technology maturity.

    Projects should have a minimum installed capacity of:

    • 4 MW for Solar PV Farms

    • 12 MW for Wind Power Plants

    • 1 MW for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

    • 1 MW for Electrolyzers

    EnerDAO can become a holder of the project equity or act as a guarantor and buy out the collateral of a defaulted project at a discount.

    Eventually we plan to offer equity investments into RES projects and venture capital investments into energy startups.

    For RES projects, this will provide a predictable and long-term revenue stream.

    For energy startups that have passed our selection process and have proven their viability, this will offer a valuable source of funding to fuel growth or move to the next stage of technology maturity.
